CAMPAGIN UPDATE! WE HAVE HIT OUR GOAL OF SPONSORING SIX MOMS!! We’ve had donations come in not only on here, but on The Finley Project website. THANK YOU! Let’s keep it going!!
We would love for you to join us at the 2nd Annual Miles for Miles walk on March 2nd. This walk will not only honor Miles, but all babies who have left this earth too soon. As we continue to remember our angel babies, we also walk to support and fundraise for The Finley Project, a non-profit that is very near and dear to my heart. Their devoted team provides a lifeline for mothers in the minutes, hours and days after infant loss through a 7-Part Holistic Program that supports each mother physically, emotionally and spiritually at no financial cost to them.
You are welcome to donate any amount that you wish. Every $1 makes a difference. Last year we were blessed to raise nearly $10K, and I know with your support, we can do it again. Our goal this year is to raise $10,830, which would support 6 mothers in the program for one year. The cost behind the 7-step holistic program includes funeral arrangements, grocery gift cards, house cleaning, massage therapy, support group place, 1-to-1 counseling, and a support coordinator.
Donations can be made be directly to this page where a receipt can be provided if needed. Feel free to send me your donations through Venmo (@nlavric18), cash, or check if that is easier for you. Also, new to The Finley Project this year is an extension of the program to help loss dads. I truly believe in the work The Finley Project does, and am honored to serve on the board of directors among some of the strongest and inspiring people I’ve ever met. Their program has taught me first hand that grief and joy can co-exist.
I understand that times are tough for everyone right now financially – so please do not feel pressured to donate. Instead, join us for the walk and remember our baby boy, and all the others gone too soon. Bring your kids, friends, family, pets, and anyone else to the walk! If you can’t join us in person – walk wherever you are and send us pictures.
