The purpose of DirectlyTo is to direct funds and services DirectlyTo those who need it most. We are proud to announce the joint effort with Coastal Healthcare Services to raise $15,000 to fund The Move, Play, Speak Scholarship. Through our concerted efforts we can achieve this goal.
Coastal Healthcare Services is a Pediatric Practice of Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech Language Pathologists located in Washington DC. The purpose of this scholarship is to assist students pursuing graduate level degrees in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Language Pathology who demonstrate an interest in practicing Pediatrics post-graduation. The focus of this scholarship is to support students from diverse backgrounds who meet the Scholarship Committee’s objective to develop a workforce of Pediatric Clinicians who are motivated to apply their expertise to help children Move, Play, and Speak.
The goal is to award 3 scholarships (Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy) to driven and academically successful students in the amount of $5,000. In an effort to ensure the success of this campaign Coastal Healthcare Services will match donations through out the campaign. No donated amount is to little and all Donations to “DirectlyTo: Move, Play, Speak Scholarship” are tax deductible. Lastly, if you are unable to donate remember to shop for the cause and rebate proceeds will go to support this endeavor.

Please place “Move, Play, Speak Scholarship” in the memo section and provide an email for Tax receipt. DirectlyTo, Inc is a 501c3 and should qualify for corporate donation matching programs.

Applications for the Move, Play, Speak Scholarship will open Spring of 2016.
One award will be granted to a deserving student in each field of study, totally three (3) awards annually.
Qualified Applicants Must:
- Be enrolled in a graduate level Physical, Occupational, or Speech Therapy program on a full time basis at an accredited institution.
- Have completed the Pediatric Course related to field of study.
- Have a 3.3 GPA overall cumulative GPA and a 3.0 in the Pediatric Course.
- Have a proven financial need.
- Demonstrate leadership and community service.
- Have a desire to practice in Pediatrics post-graduation.
A Scholarship Selection Committee composed of volunteer Pediatric practitioners and educators will review all of the applications. The scholarships will be awarded Fall of 2016.
